Michael Stochmal, DC

Our very own Dr. Stochmal and his teammates from Against Limits Sailing are preparing to take on one of the toughest and most unique endurance races in the world – the Race to Alaska (R2AK)!
⛵ This isn’t your typical sailboat race. There are no engines, no support crews, and no shortcuts. Competitors must travel from Port Townsend, Washington, to Ketchikan, Alaska using only wind power, human power, determination, and a whole lot of sweat. Whether they’re sailing through challenging waters or rowing when the wind disappears, every mile is earned.
⛵ Even more inspiring, Against Limits Sailing is racing to raise awareness and funds for ALS Canada, helping support those affected by ALS while bringing attention to this devastating disease.
⛵ Over the coming weeks, we’ll be cheering on Dr. Stochmal and his teammates as they push their limits, embrace the adventure, and prove that determination can carry you farther than you ever imagined. The race begins on June 17th!
